The production process and manufacturing process of alkali resistant glass fiber mesh

The fiberglass alkaline-resistance mesh fabric is on the basis of C-glass or E-glass woven fabric, then coated by acrylic acid copolymer liquid. Glass fiber yarn mainly include ceramic crucibles, imitation platinum, platinum. Its price difference is big, so is the quality. In general, ceramic crucible and imitation platinum crucible always uses with urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive for its` fixation material, while platinum crucible uses with acrylic emulsion.

Alkali resistant glass fiber grid cloth production process:

The product produced by platinum crucible owns big pull resistance and good alkali resistance, while that produced by ceramic crucible and imitation platinum crucible is crisp, stiff and can`t fixate well. But the price of platinum crucible is high, and the price of ceramic crucibles and imitation platinum is cheap. Choosing what kind of raw material and what glue, it depends on customer's request.

The manufacturing process of alkali resistant glass fiber mesh:

Alkali resistant glass fiber mesh is woven with alkali resistant glass fiber textile yarn. Introduction of zirconia (content of 14.5% or 16.7%) in glass fiber composition, melt the raw materials in 1600 ℃ temperature. In order to make sure the affinity of the mesh and Alkali compounds in the late process, the monofilament should be coated with water soluble polymer epoxy resin and coupling agent when the fiber form. Then coated high alkaline polymer composite materials on the surface of the mesh again, so it can effectively keep the alkali resistant fiberglass mesh from eroding by the Polymer mortar in Ca (OH) 2 and other natural gas hydrates
